About River Hills Golf & Country Club
River Hills Golf & Country Club sits along the Highway 17 golf corridor in the seaside village of Little River, South Carolina, on the Grand Strand. The course opened in 1989.
Its rolling hills set it apart from much of coastal Carolina, and the layout is framed by natural surroundings. The design came from architect Tom Jackson, whose work tends to look more demanding from the tee than it plays. Among the standout holes are the par-4 14th and the par-5 17th, the signature hole, which bends as a double dogleg and asks for two carries over water.
