About Golden Hills Golf & Country Club
Golden Hills Golf & Country Club sits within a wooded residential community in Lexington, South Carolina, on land that was once part of a plantation bought by Christopher Caughman in the early 1800s. The property later operated as Golden Glow Dairy Farm, and the club's name reflects that chapter of its history.
The club opened in 1988 with an 18-hole championship course designed by golf architect Ron Garl. The greens are planted with TifEagle Bermuda, and yardages are marked clearly throughout the layout. Conditions hold up through much of the year, and the course is set up to be playable for golfers across a range of skill levels.
