Midland Valley Golf Club
About Midland Valley Golf Club
Midland Valley Golf Club in Graniteville was originally laid out in 1961 by golf course architect Ellis Maples, and it has remained a fixture of the local golf scene ever since. After a long stretch with few updates to the course and its facilities, new ownership took over in January 2024 and began a program of improvements, work that is ongoing but already noticeable to members and visitors.
The round opens with the course's toughest test, a hole whose fairway plays narrower than it first appears. Its elevated green falls away sharply from back to front and from right to left, so approaches favoring the right edge offer the best look at par.
