Wild Wing Plantation
About Wild Wing Plantation
Wild Wing Plantation in Conway offers 27 holes of golf in the Myrtle Beach area. Its Avocet Course, designed by Jeff Brauer with Larry Nelson, opened in 1993 and is known for a bold layout that calls for creative shotmaking.
In 2026, Avocet underwent a major restoration directed by Brauer, the original architect, staying faithful to the course's initial concept. The work brought new Tif3D bermudagrass greens returned to their intended dimensions, rebuilt bunkering, refined contours and the reinstatement of original design features.

The course pairs generous driving corridors with a premium on precision and strategy. Notable holes include the drivable par-4 14th and the par-4 9th, where the "Valley of Sin" has been fully restored.
