About Burning Ridge Golf Club
Burning Ridge Golf Club in Conway opened in 1980 to a design by architect Gene Hamm. The 18-hole, par-72 layout measures roughly 6,780 yards from the back tees, with a slope rating near 128 and a course rating in the low 70s.
Tree-lined fairways, elevated greens, strategic bunkering and water hazards put the emphasis on placement and shot-making rather than raw length. A major renovation in 2005 widened the fairways, reworked the bunkers and improved overall playability.
The clubhouse holds a pro shop and a grill, along with a large outdoor patio that looks out over the closing hole.
