Chester Golf Club
About Chester Golf Club
Chester Golf Club sits in rural Chester County, roughly six miles west of I-77 at exit 62, between Charlotte and Columbia. The course opened in 1971 and was designed by Russell Breeden.
Its large TifEagle Bermuda greens provide smooth but demanding putting surfaces, while the 419 Bermuda fairways are lined with trees, giving golfers of varying ability a round that is both testing and enjoyable.
The 12th hole stands out as the course's signature: a par 5 that calls for two shots played over water, with the green guarded by water on three sides and a sand bunker.
