Hilton Head National Golf Course in Bluffton was designed by Gary Player and Bobby Weed, and its layout reflects their shared emphasis on variety, asking golfers to use every club in the bag. The TifEagle Ultra greens are a central feature, rewarding well-judged approaches and setting up risk-and-reward decisions throughout the round.
The signature 6th hole plays alongside a lagoon, and wildlife is a regular presence on the property. No housing borders the fairways or greens, giving the course a secluded, club-like feel while remaining open to public play. It has also hosted the Amoco-Centel PGA Championship.
