River Birch Golf Course
About River Birch Golf Course
River Birch Golf Course in Bamberg, South Carolina opened in 1981 as Paw Paw Country Club. The layout came from Russell Breeden, a well-known South Carolina golf course architect.
The course winds past numerous lakes and wooded ground, and finishes at large, undulating greens. It stretches to 6,666 yards from the championship tees, with four sets of tees in total to suit a range of playing abilities.
Enhanced Golf Management Inc. took over the property in December 2021, and the change of name to River Birch accompanied the new ownership.
