About Kings Crossing Golf Club
Kings Crossing Golf Club in North Kingstown was originally designed by golf architect Geoffrey Cornish and opened in 1964. The layout moves across a gently meandering, flowing landscape, with holes that vary in character and offer flexibility from one tee to the next.
The course can be played several ways: a short four-hole loop, a nine-hole round, or a full 18 holes, with a flexible tee marker system that adjusts the test for different abilities. Greens are softly contoured and generally fair, while classically styled bunkering frames the holes and comes into play as a genuine hazard. The emphasis throughout is on playability, so golfers of widely differing driving distances can find a way around.
