Sakonnet Golf Club dates to 1899 and sits at the southern tip of Little Compton, Rhode Island. Its 18-hole layout was shaped by architect Donald Ross, who kept a summer residence in the town and reworked the course hole by hole across two decades.
The course plays to a par of 70 at 6,337 yards, with sea views and old stone walls framing the holes.
Sakonnet is a private club, and golf, club events and membership applications are all by invitation only.
