West Chester Golf & Country Club
About West Chester Golf & Country Club
West Chester Golf & Country Club plays over rolling, tree-lined terrain in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with elevation change and bunkering featuring prominently in its design.
The round opens with a narrow, straight par 5 flanked by trees and fairway bunkers, reachable in two from a good drive and finishing at a small elevated green guarded by sand in front and to the left. From the forward tees the same hole plays about 40 yards shorter as a long par 4, serving as the tenth. The second is the course's hardest hole, a long uphill par 4 with a fairway that slopes from right to left and overhanging trees shielding the right side of the green.

Among the short holes is a downhill par 3 ringed in front and on both sides by large bunkers, with long tee shots leaving a recovery back up to an elevated putting surface. Multiple teeing grounds and varied pin placements change how several holes play.
