Glen Brook Golf Club
About Glen Brook Golf Club
Glen Brook Golf Club sits in the Pocono Mountains near Stroudsburg, roughly 90 minutes from New York City or Philadelphia and about two minutes from Interstate 80 on Hickory Valley Road.
The club was in private hands for some eighty years, operating as a semi-private course that offered memberships while remaining open to public play. In 2006 Stroud Township acquired the course along with adjacent land as part of an open-space effort aimed at expanding recreation for the general public. The township has since put funding into course improvements and into establishing the property as a gathering place for the surrounding community.
