About Chartiers Country Club
Chartiers Country Club traces its origins to a design by Willie Park, Jr., the Scottish architect and two-time British Open champion, who laid out the course in the wooded hills above Pittsburgh roughly a century ago. The result is a classic championship layout set across rolling, tree-lined terrain.
The club has a long history within Pittsburgh golf, having been associated with well-known club professionals and having welcomed players such as Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson and Arnold Palmer over the years.
