About Montrose Country Club
Montrose Country Club traces its founding to 1898, making it the fifth oldest club in Pennsylvania and among the earliest nine-hole courses established in the country. In its early years it served mainly as a retreat for families traveling from New York City, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.
The nine-hole layout looks out over Lake Montrose, the wooded land behind the town, and the Endless Mountains that characterize the region.
Organized play includes leagues on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, along with a junior golf program held on Monday mornings.
