Whispering Pines Golf Course
About Whispering Pines Golf Course
Whispering Pines was purchased in 1994 by Bill Kingzett Jr. along with his father, Bill "Coach" Kingzett, and a small group of investors. In the years since, the family has reworked the property, adding tees, expanding the irrigation system and updating the clubhouse.
The course remains a family-run operation. Coach Kingzett, a former high school football coach and NFL official, still takes to a mower in the mornings well into his nineties. Carol Kingzett has filled the General Manager role for more than three decades, overseeing day-to-day operations, while Bill Jr. has guided the property's modernization.
