Quail Valley Golf Course

Open since 1993, Quail Valley has drawn both area residents and traveling golfers. The course was purchased by Scott and Colyn Keller, grandsons of the late New York Yankees player Charlie Keller.

The layout is built around two contrasting nines. The front side runs through a stand of mature trees, while the more open back nine brings water into play on seven of its nine holes. Five sets of tees accommodate a range of abilities, and the routing features risk-and-reward par 5s, a notable par 3, and greens known for their speed.

The signature hole is No. 13, a par 3 played to an island green, where the tee shot presents as much of a mental test as a physical one.
