Kane Country Club's front nine begins with a 425-yard par 4, the most demanding hole on the layout. Out of bounds runs along the right side of the fairway, bordered by Route 6. The green is difficult to hold on the approach, with many shots releasing to the bottom and leaving an uphill chip for a testing up-and-down.
