About Hershey Country Club
Hershey Country Club was founded in 1930 by Milton S. Hershey, who created it as a place of recreation and relaxation for the residents of Hershey. The club remains private, and its history is woven into its three golf courses and natural fairways.
The East Course was designed by George Fazio and opened in 1969; it served as host of the Reese's Cup Classic from 1997 through 2004. The West Course, laid out by Maurice McCarthy in 1930, staged the 1940 PGA Championship, won by Byron Nelson, and later hosted the LPGA Tour's Lady Keystone Open from 1978 to 1994.
