Down River Golf Course

Down River Golf Course sits among the mountains of South Central Pennsylvania, roughly eight miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The family-owned, 18-hole layout is bordered by the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River, and bald eagles have nested on the property.

The course plays to a par of 72 over largely flat terrain, with sloping greens providing much of the challenge. It measures a rating of 72 and slope of 126 from the blue tees, 70.5 and 123 from the whites, and 66.6 and 110 from the gold tees, making it playable for a range of skill levels. A bar on site serves food.
