Pleasant Valley Golf Club traces its origins to 1922, when it opened as Pleasant Valley Country Club. For more than nine decades it has operated as a full club facility, built around 18 championship holes.
Beyond the course, the property includes a bar and restaurant, a large ballroom, men's and women's locker rooms, an Olympic-size swimming pool and stocked fishing ponds.
The layout has served as a venue for competitive golf over the years, including the West Penn Amateur Qualifier, WPIAL qualifiers and sectional tournaments, a USGA Public Links sectional qualifier, and events on the US Kids National Tour. The club counted more than 350 members between 1963 and 2006.
