Harmony Ridge Golf Club sits on the ridges of Harmony Township, above the Ohio River Valley in Ambridge. The course dates to 1923, when it opened as Ambridge Country Club, and was designed and built by Emil Loeffler with H.C. and W.C. Fownes — a pedigree that earned it the longstanding nickname of Oakmont's little brother.
The layout has seen design changes in recent years, resulting in a course meant to suit a range of skill levels while keeping the demands of its historic routing. It lies about 16 miles northwest of downtown Pittsburgh, roughly 15 minutes from Cranberry, Wexford, Sewickley and Moon.
