About Claremont Golf Club

Claremont Golf Club opened in 1993 as a nine-hole course laid out through the Claremont neighborhood in Portland. Many golfers play it twice for a par-72 round of 18, often switching to a different set of tees on the second loop to vary the challenge.

The layout suits casual players and beginners as well as more experienced golfers. The opening hole, a par 4 measuring 361 yards from the back tees and 309 from the front, demands an accurate drive: a lake waits to the right, while trees on the left can block the line. The approach is guarded by a bunker to the left of the green and water to the right.
