About Diamond Woods Golf Course
Diamond Woods Golf Course sits off Highway 99W in Monroe, Oregon, and plays more than 7,000 yards from the back tees. Designed by Greg Doyle, it opened in 1997 with a varied layout suited to both newcomers and experienced players.
The front nine runs across open, relatively level ground, while the back nine turns to tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain. Water comes into play on seven holes, and the course looks out toward the Willamette Valley and the Cascade Range. Five sets of tees accommodate a range of abilities.
The course record of 63 belongs to Matt Jones, set during the 2002 Nationwide Qualifier; Webb Simpson posted a 64 at the same qualifier in 2008.
