About Eugene Country Club

Eugene Country Club is a private club in Eugene, Oregon, with a long history of championship golf and an active social side. Alongside the course, the club maintains a calendar of social gatherings, dining occasions and family activities that draw members of all ages together.

The club traces its origins to the South Willamette Golf Club, formed by a group of 14 university professors and local businessmen on College Hill and recognized as the second golf club established in Oregon. It was incorporated on Christmas Eve, when it took possession of its first clubhouse on South Willamette Street, located beside the original course — a nine-hole layout played to sand greens.
