About Salmon Run Golf Course
Salmon Run Golf Course sits behind Oregon's coastal mountains, about 3.5 miles from downtown Brookings. Designed by Troy Claveran, the course opened in 1999 and is owned by the city as a municipal facility, managed by CourseCo, Inc. It is open to the public.
Four sets of tees range from 4,129 yards to more than 6,000 yards, giving the layout flexibility for a range of skill levels. The course rewards accuracy, particularly from the back tees, where several shots are played through tree-lined chutes. Jack Creek runs through the property, and salmon and steelhead can sometimes be seen making their way upstream to spawn.
