Boiling Springs Golf Course sits along the North Canadian River in Woodward, in northwestern Oklahoma, roughly two and a half hours from Oklahoma City.
The par-71 layout measures about 6,500 yards and opened in 1979 to a design by Donald Sechrest. Over the decades its sandbelt character faded as invasive red cedars and uneven maintenance took hold. A major restoration effort began in 2013 with the clearing of overgrown vegetation, after which architect Jeff Blume carried out renovations to the greens and bunkers, and work has continued to return the course to its sandbelt roots.

The routing runs through roughly 120 acres of heavily undulating dunes, with elevation changes shaped by the river's course over centuries. Native grasses and stands of oak, black walnut, elm and mulberry line the holes, and wide views and local wildlife are part of the setting.
