Lakeside Memorial Golf Course
About Lakeside Memorial Golf Course
Lakeside Memorial was designed in 1945 by Labron Harris, then golf coach at Oklahoma State University, and carries a long history in Stillwater. For nearly five decades it served as the home course of the OSU golf team, and players such as Rickie Fowler, Bob Tway, David Edwards, Doug Tewell and Scott Verplank developed their games on the property.
Architect Tripp Davis renovated the course in 1998, establishing the layout in play today. The holes wind among large oaks across the gently rolling hills of north central Oklahoma, with SR-1020 bentgrass greens and zoysia and bermuda tee boxes.
