FireLake Golf Course
About FireLake Golf Course
FireLake Golf Course is an 18-hole public course operated by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, located just outside Shawnee, Oklahoma. It opened in 1983 and for many years was the only public course in Pottawatomie County. A multiyear renovation was carried out between 2015 and 2017.
The layout plays 6,335 yards, with narrow fairways framed by native grasses and old-growth pecan orchards. Water is a factor on 13 of the 18 holes, with 11 lakes and a natural creek running through the property. The Bermuda greens average about 8,000 square feet, allowing for a wide range of pin positions, and the course suits players across skill levels.
