Heritage Hills Golf Course
About Heritage Hills Golf Course
Heritage Hills is an 18-hole public golf course in Claremore, operated under the direction of the Rogers County Public Facilities Authority. The project began in the 1970s as part of a subdivision tied to Claremore Junior College, now Rogers State University, and the layout was designed by Tulsa architect Donal Sechrest.
The course plays up to 6,750 yards with a rating of 72.7 and a slope of 129, moving across a mix of hilly and flat ground. Water comes into the picture on 15 of the 18 holes, though not all of it is in play for every golfer, and the course currently has 35 sand bunkers along with four grass bunkers.

The classic design rewards well-struck shots, while wayward ones often leave deep lies, sidehill stances or recoveries from the wooded areas that frame the holes.
