About National Golf Links
National Golf Links is a championship-length course in South Charleston designed by Jodi Kinney. It opened in May 1995 as a family-owned and operated nine-hole layout, and expanded to 18 holes in May 2000, playing from about 5,100 yards at the forward tees to 7,200 yards from the championship tees.
The links-style design uses the natural landscape, with rolling hills, creeks and ponds lending it a European character. Fairways are a bluegrass-rye blend, while the large bentgrass greens are undulating and run true.
Practice facilities include a driving range along with pitching and putting greens.
