About Piqua Country Club
Piqua Country Club plays as a classic 18-hole layout in western Ohio. Its original nine holes were laid out by architect Donald Ross in 1896, only eight years after the first golf course opened in the United States, and a second nine designed by Jack Kidwell was added later along with other renovations. It stands as the oldest course in the Dayton area and the second oldest in the state.
The traditional design features bentgrass fairways framed by mature oaks, small undulating greens and elevated tee boxes that open up views across the rolling terrain. Five sets of tees allow newer golfers to find a comfortable length while still presenting a test for low handicappers.

The club also runs a junior golf program through its pro shop staff, combining instruction and skill development with an emphasis on honesty, fairness, competition and sportsmanship, along with seasonal junior camps.
