About Split Rock Golf Course
Split Rock Golf Course grew out of a project begun in the early 1990s by Glenn and Lucinda Gulick, who set out to build a course in the rolling countryside of northern Pickaway County. They brought in the Hurdzan-Fry design team, whose routing follows the natural contours of the land.
The resulting 18 holes offer contrasting halves: the front nine plays somewhat more open, while the back nine is defined by tighter fairways. From the championship tees the course stretches beyond 6,800 yards with a slope rating of 125, though shorter tee options make the layout approachable for a range of players.
The clubhouse overlooks the course and serves snacks and drinks after a round.
