Sugar Isle Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 public course in New Carlisle, Ohio, designed by architect Jack Kidwell and opened in 1972. Laid out over gently rolling ground, it stretches to 6,754 yards, with bentgrass tees and greens and bluegrass fairways.
Water comes into play on more than half of the holes, and 20 white sand bunkers are spread across the property, with mature trees framing several fairways. The design mixes those hazards with a degree of forgiveness, making it playable for a range of ages and abilities.

The course has been owned and run by the Smart family since it opened. Amenities include a pro shop, driving range and putting green, along with a pavilion that seats up to 120 for group events. It hosts high school programs, outings and tournaments, and has a membership base.
