Vernon View Golf Course
About Vernon View Golf Course
Vernon View Golf Course sits among the rolling hills of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, with scenic countryside surrounding the layout.
The course is owned and operated by the Phillips family. Bob Phillips purchased it in 2021 with the aim of making it approachable for golfers across a range of abilities, and the property has since seen a series of improvements, including a new practice facility, restored greens and fairways, and a fully remodeled clubhouse. Bob oversees course maintenance as superintendent, while his son Charlie manages the pro shop and golf operations.

The family connection to the property goes back further still: Charlie learned the game here when it operated under its former name, Hiawatha Golf Course.
