About Wildwood Golf Club
Wildwood Golf Club in Middletown opened in 1922 and was later redesigned by golf course architect Arthur Hills. It remains a private, members-only club.
The layout measures just over 6,400 yards from the blue tees, with a course rating of 70.1 and a slope of 125 — a shorter test by modern standards, but one that places a premium on placement rather than distance. Bent-grass fairways and greens are maintained as the primary playing surfaces, and the par-3 character of the round builds toward the signature 12th hole, which arrives well into the back nine.

Guests may play when accompanied by a member, and outside golf outings are hosted on selected days each month. Non-metal spikes are required, and all players are expected to observe the club's posted rules and etiquette.
