Mound Golf Course
About Mound Golf Course
Mound Golf Course in Miamisburg, Ohio, opens with a short par 4 of 283 yards. The first hole plays to a narrow fairway with out of bounds down the left and a lateral water hazard that crosses the fairway before running along the right side, putting a premium on an accurate tee shot.
The second is a straight par 4 with a blind tee shot over a hill; shots that stop short of the crest lose distance and leave a blind approach. Two bunkers protect the green, and out of bounds extends the length of the hole on the left.

The third, the course's toughest hole by handicap, is a long par 5 shaped as a double dogleg left. Two fairway bunkers, out of bounds on the left and scattered trees discourage attempts to cut the corners, rewarding instead a straight tee shot that sets up the second.
