About Lake Milton Golf Club
Lake Milton Golf Club has been part of its namesake community for more than 60 years, beginning as a family-run course and now operating under new ownership.
The course opened in 1959 as Lakeside Golf Course, founded by John and Mary Gura and designed by Al Blazek as a par-72 public layout. Its character comes from tree-lined fairways, elevated greens and water hazards that shape play throughout the round.

In 1972 the Guras handed the course to their daughter Joan and her husband, Allen Blazek. A new back nine followed in 1975, bringing the layout to a full 18 holes. The Blazek family went on to expand the clubhouse and add a patio and pavilion, and the club has long hosted leagues, outings and community events.
