About Chippewa Golf Club
Chippewa Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Curtice, Ohio, roughly ten minutes east of Toledo.
The club dates to 1926, when a group of East Toledo businessmen developed a course on what had been the Taylor farm. It opened as Chippewa Country Club, a name drawn from Victoria Cadaract, a Chippewa woman who lived in a log cabin on the property until her death in 1915. The layout was designed by Harold Weber, a Toledo golfer and four-time Ohio Amateur champion.
