About Avon Oaks Country Club

Avon Oaks Country Club in Avon, Ohio, plays through stands of mature oak trees, with narrow fairways, renovated bunkers and fast greens. The original design came from architect Harold Paddock, with later work by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Huntley, and the club has recently completed a four-year course renovation carried out as part of its master plan.

The layout stretches to just over 7,000 yards from the championship markers, with additional sets at 6,474, 6,018 and 5,525 yards, plus five newer forward tees measuring 5,168 and 4,878 yards. As a PGA Family Course, Avon Oaks also includes permanent junior tee markers on par 3s, 4s and 5s scaled to age and ability, making the course manageable for newer players while still testing stronger ones.

Practice facilities include a driving range, a short-game area and a putting green beside the golf patio. The golf program offers events, tournaments, clinics and instruction for all experience levels.
