About Park Country Club
Park Country Club, a private club in Williamsville, New York, traces its origins to April 1903, when a group of Buffalo civic leaders — among them Dr. Roswell Park and Bronson Rumsey — formed The Park Club of Buffalo after the Country Club of Buffalo moved to Amherst. The club was established for social, athletic and recreational purposes.
The organization took hold on Elmwood Avenue and merged with the Buffalo Golf Club, a union that produced a full eighteen-hole course. Membership reached its cap of 800 by 1909, with a waiting list forming shortly afterward.

In 1927, architect Clifford C. Wendehack, also known for his work at Winged Foot Country Club, designed the club's clubhouse, which remains a gathering place for members and guests. More than a century after its founding, the club continues as one of Western New York's long-standing private institutions.
