West Point Golf Course
About West Point Golf Course
Set in the Hudson Valley just north of the Bear Mountain Bridge, West Point Golf Course is an 18-hole layout routed through mountain terrain. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, the course places more emphasis on shotmaking than raw length, making it playable for a range of skill levels, and the conditioning reflects careful upkeep.
The course doubles as a walk through military history: each hole marker commemorates a period of American conflict, beginning at the first hole with the American Revolution and closing with the 17th and 18th, which recall Iraq and Afghanistan.

It also serves as the home of Army Golf, where the United States Military Academy's Division I golf team practices and hosts tournaments, including the Army-Navy match.
