About The Links at Greystone
The Links at Greystone, also known as Greystone Golf Club, opened in 1996 as the third golf course development undertaken by the Odenbach family of Upstate New York. The family's business roots trace back to 1920, when John H. Odenbach founded the materials supplier Dolomite Inc. Alongside Greystone, the family also developed Shadow Lake and Shadow Pines, helping grow the game in the Penfield and Rochester area.

In 2000, the Odenbachs sold Dolomite Inc. along with Greystone, Shadow Pines and Shadow Lake to Oldcastle Materials of Ireland, which brought a new approach to management. Sixteen years later, Oldcastle stepped away from the golf business, and the Odenbach family reacquired Greystone, returning the course to family ownership.
