About The Rock Golf Club
The Rock Golf Club opened in 2001 on Long Island's North Fork, with a course designed by William "Buddy" Johnson. The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 71 at 6,404 yards from the back tees and is marked by pronounced elevation changes, varied terrain and demanding greens, presenting a challenge to stronger players while remaining playable for a range of abilities. Practice amenities include a driving range, a short-game area and a teaching facility.

Under new ownership since 2021, the club has undertaken a phased redevelopment, with the first phase completed in spring 2023. Work has included renovations to the clubhouse, locker rooms, pro shop and restaurant, tree trimming and turf improvements. Several tee boxes were rebuilt and reshaped to lengthen certain holes or alter the angle of play, while keeping to the original design. Memberships are available.
