About Sebonack Golf Club
Sebonack Golf Club occupies roughly 300 acres in Southampton, New York, on land bordering the National Golf Links of America and Shinnecock Hills Golf Course. Several holes open onto wide views of Long Island's Great Peconic Bay and Cold Spring Pond.
The course was designed collaboratively by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak, two architects with markedly different approaches, who worked with the existing contours and natural features of the site. The layout combines rolling fairways, broad bunkering and waste dunes with undulating greens full of swales and hollows, and was shaped to look weathered and long-settled rather than newly built. The result is a course distinct in character from its well-known neighbors and demanding for golfers across skill levels.
