Stadium Golf Club

Stadium Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Schenectady, New York, with a long family history behind its present layout.

The property began as a nine-hole regulation course paired with a pitch and putt, both built by Pete McNearney, and was later purchased by Henry Lewkowicz and Ed Hennel, who initially kept members-only access to the regulation nine while the clubhouse and par-three course remained open to the public. In the early 1970s the pitch and putt was closed and converted into a driving range, and work began on an expanded course using adjacent land. The full 18 holes opened in August 1987, by which point only two of McNearney's original holes remained; those were subsequently reworked, leaving an entirely new layout.
