Saratoga Spa Golf Course
About Saratoga Spa Golf Course
Saratoga Spa Golf Course's Championship Course is a public layout in the Saratoga-Capital Region of New York State. Its original holes opened in 1936, and in the late 1950s golf course architect William Mitchell redesigned the property into the course played today. Soon after the reopening, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player marked the occasion with a commemorative round.
The course sits within a pine forest, and the tall pines that frame a number of the holes give the round much of its character and a sense of seclusion.
