About Rome Country Club
Rome Country Club is an 18-hole public golf course in Rome, New York. The layout was originally designed by the late Geoffrey Cornish and carries one of his signature features: undulating greens that run at quick speeds. The course is set up as a fair but demanding test of golf.
The club has a long history of competitive play, having hosted the New York State Women's Amateur in 1981 and again in 2011, USGA local qualifying rounds, the annual Rome City Men's and Women's Amateurs, and both the New York and United States Speedgolf Opens.
