Lake Shore Country Club in Rochester, New York, offers two layouts: an 18-hole championship course and the 9-hole Shore Acres Executive Course, each with its own character.
The 18-hole course is known for its natural setting and turf conditions. The front nine plays shorter and includes three par 3s, while the back nine is considerably longer, with two par 5s and four par 4s, several of which play longer than the card suggests — the 16th in particular. The closing 18th is a long par 5 to a green guarded by sand on both sides. A snack stand at the turn serves players during the summer. The Shore Acres Executive Course features lakeside views and several demanding par 3s. Both courses are designed to be testing yet forgiving for a range of skill levels.
