About The Vineyards Golf & Country Club
The Vineyards Golf & Country Club is a par-70 layout set among the gently rolling farmland of Riverhead's East End, with three sets of tees to suit a range of abilities.
Designed by William "Buddy" Johnson and opened in 2005, the course rewards accuracy and shot selection. Raised, undulating greens are well protected, and rolling fairways are flanked by large, meandering bunkers and hazards that ask players to consider club and shot shape from the tee. Five par 3s vary in length, direction and difficulty, and the open, treeless terrain leaves them exposed to the wind. Secondary rough is made up of fescue grasses and native wildflowers.

Tees, fairways and greens are bent grass, and the layout was developed to preserve the natural character and wildlife of the surrounding land.
