About Hiland Park Country Club
Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury, New York, opened to public play in August 1988.
A story from the club's early days recalls the final round played the day before that opening, when one of two brothers teed off on the sixth hole and watched his ball bounce once and vanish from sight. A member of the maintenance crew farther down the fairway signaled the outcome: a hole in one.
